I’m a system engineer / security engineer from the Netherlands. I’ve been in IT pretty much my entire life, and its something that stuck with me both professionally and personally.
I like working with systems, figuring out how things fit together, and breaking them down when needed. The same goes for programming. I dont stick to one language, I just use whatever gets the job done or what I feel like experimenting with at the time.
In the past, I spent a lot of time making mods and missions for games. These days I still occasionally make small content mods for games like Hearts of Iron IV and Arma, mostly when I feel like building something or trying out an idea.
Since 2023, I’ve also gotten into motorcycles. What started as interest turned into actually working on them myself. I followed some maintenance courses and now just enjoy tinkering and doing my own work on my bike.
I tend to look at things from both a technical and a more philosophical angle. Sometimes that just means overthinking things, sometimes it leads somewhere useful. This blog is mainly created as a place to write those thoughts down and to store all my creations in one place so I can revisit them later.
